MEPC 81/11/1: Proposal to designate the Norwegian Sea as an Emission Control Area for Nitrogen Oxide
With this document, Norway proposes to designate the Norwegian Sea as an emission control area (ECA) for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur oxides (SOx) to prevent, reduce and control emissions of NOx, SOx and particulate matter (PM) from ships, pursuant to regulations 13 and 14 and appendix III to MARPOL Annex VI.
