- Maktuayaq (Inupiaq) “Mellisa Heflin”, originally from the community of Nome, Alaska, is the Executive Director of Bering Sea Elders Group and works to advocate, educate, and share with others the importance of preserving and maintaining indigenous ways of life for the Bering Sea.
- Victoria Sharakhmatova is a researcher at the Kamchatka Branch of Pacific Geographical Institute of the Far Eastern Russian Academy of Science and a Member and Consultant for the Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North: Kamchatsky Krai.
- Willie Goodwin Jr. is a member of the Inuit Circumpolar Council Food Security Committee, chair of the Arctic Marine Mammal Council, chair of the Alaska Waterways Safety Committee, and a former Mayor of the City of Kotzebue, Alaska (21 miles north of the Arctic Circle).
